Our apologies to anyone who has waited longer than the stated 72 hours for an email response, unfortunately Dorian has been down with a rather nasty flu bug, but he's now trying to work through the gummy eyes and unpleasant coughing (it's a delightful background noise to the work place) and will reply to everyone as quickly as he is able. He optimistically hopes to be up to date (back to 72 hour response time) by the end of business Friday. Only email responses and customer returns are affected by Dorian's illness, all else, including despatches and customer orders are not affected. 27th February 2008I've been busy adding new product pages to the website. The popular men's gothic corporate wear, pinstripe waistcoat and trousers are available once more and these pages are online again. We have also added a beautiful neo-Edwardian gothic steam punk style striped jacket and skirt. I love this design so much and the photographs are amazing thanks to Shadow Jen and Gothic Image of course. Plus a beautiful new version of our old favourite the Opera coat is now online too. We still have more female and male photo shoots in the pipeline so keep coming back for more. Ooooh, how we love to tempt you. 12th February 2008I've been uploading some new products to the website. Mostly exciting new gothic hand bags, shoulder bags and back packs. Check out the mens stuff and the womens stuff bags sections to see all the recently added designs. What horrific news about the Camden Market fire. I am so glad that it wasn't the Stables which was affected. However, I feel desperately sorry for all the traders whose hard work literally went up in smoke. Insurance will never truly cover their losses. The female shoots should be happening soon. Just a small selection of big dresses and Edwardian Gothic. I'll share them as soon as the photos are taken and edited, promise. We have two small scale photo shoots happening over the next month or two, both for female clothing and both romantic and traditional style clothing. Wish I was... we're still despatching gothic clothing, jewellery and make-up parcels, as the goods are made, until Friday, so UK customers who ordered in plenty of time should still get their goods for Christmas. We will start despatching again (after Friday) straight after the New Year. We are only taking one week out of the office and even then, even in our absence you can place your orders as normal as it's well automated with the new Drac-in-a-Box Gothic Clothing website. Factories are shut for two weeks over the festive period, so goods may take up to two weeks longer than stated on the product pages. But normally we manage to keep up to the expected delivery schedules after Factory shutdowns as everyone comes back fresh and ready for work ;-) What you don't believe me? I just adore these new outfits, hope you do too. 16th November 2007We've got new stocks in of bags and footwear. We're keeping stocks of goth basics like make-up, gothic hosiery and drainpipe jeans. We've got many gothic corset styles, colours and sizes in stock so we feel more ready for the Christmas deliveries than we have any year before this. Heavy parcels have the earliest Christmas cut off date for overseas if the item you are looking at has an additional postage charge for overseas orders we need to send it very soon for it to reach you by Christmas. If you ever wish to check stock delivery times you can always email us, but the link above shows the last postage date for parcels over 2KG sent internationally. We use International Standard so that is the column to check. Datapost can be used at an additional charge. Lighter weight parcels are sent by a different methods and have a much later Christmas cut off date. But to avoid disappointment we always suggest that if you can you should place your Christmas order in November especially if you are living outside the UK. 10th November 2007Wow, the new look site is a month old and we have heard many good things from lots of new customers and returning customers. Thank you so much to everyone on your feedback. Some customers have asked for old gothic styles to be added to the new site and we have been happy to do so whenever they have still been available. We've also been clearing our stock room of lots of discontinued gothic and cyber clothing. Check out the Cyber and Industrial section and the Mens Stuff and Womens Stuff In Stock sections to see what we're clearing out in our gothic clothing stock clearance sale. All the discontinued items are non repeatable so items are sold on a strictly first come first served basis. Some customers have been struggling with the address section of the new order form. May I remind customers that we need your full address on the form when you place your order so that the shipping cost for your gothic or alternative clothing is worked out correctly. If anyone does have a problem we will email you but this could slow your order up a little. November already and the nights are cold and wintery, just as we like them. Nothing wrong with the odd bit of vampiric mist or stormy sky in my opinion and all the better for wrapping up tight in my warm woollen Priest Coat and my warm gothic boots. I'm even making a gothic muffler for those times I'm waiting at the school gates for my beautiful eldest daughter Lydia. Can't wait for "The Golden Compass" to be released either. We'll be keeping many of the black industrial gothic lines, but the brightly coloured pinks and yellows are featured in our cyber clearance sale which can be found in Cyber and Industrial section in pur left hand menu. We've been selling Gothic clothing for many years now but this is the first time that everyone who has commented on our website has said positive things. We're very pleased, we love the new spooky fun graphics and the sections seem to help our customers find their way around. We've been asked whether we still have a plus size gothic clothing section, in truth we haven't although we still have loads of plus sized items on the website. But if you type plus size into the search engine on the site you'll find a huge list of all our female and male plus size gothic clothing. We've also been asked whether we still sell gothic children's and baby's clothing. We didn't sell a huge amount of it on the old site, so at the moment that line is on hold. We're bound to be selling stock items off pretty soon then after that point if anyone does wish to buy childrens gothic clothing from us please email us. If we have enough interest we'll happily start it again. If there is anything else you'd like to see us sell. Or if you saw a product on the old Drac-in-a-Box site which you can't see here, do let us know. If the product is available we'll be happy to get it for you. And if it's an old product and it's still available we'll make it a priority to get it onto the new site if we know you're waiting for it. One teething problem is that the Pound Sign on some emails is showing up as the html code for a pound sign, which is £ we aim to sort this out as soon as we can find out why, but in the meantime don't pannic, it just means British pounds.
